Butter pecan cookies

Found this recipe online and it is sooo delicious.






You'll need: 
1  1/2 cups chopped pecans
1 cup butter(room temp)
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs(room temp)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon baking soda or baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt






Steps:
1. toast pecans 300 degree oven 15 minutes, stirring twice
2. Beat butter with mixer until smooth and creamy
3. add granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg and vanilla, mix together
4. In a different bowl mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder/soda and salt
5. mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients
6.  add toasted pecans, chill at least 3 hours
7. after chilled, roll into balls and bake 10-12 minutes 350 degrees

Flour-less peanut butter cookies

So simple! 4 ingredients and 4 steps!





What you'll need:
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract





Steps:
1. Mix all ingredients together
2, roll dough into balls( cover hands with flour or dough will stick to hands)
3. place on baking sheet and use fork to make criss crosses
4, Bake 12 minutes in preheated 325 degree oven.
**optional: sprinkle with brown sugar before baking

Loaded mashed potato balls

These arent my grandmas, but the are simple and delicious. Great for a picnic or children snack. If my grandma knew about these, shed absolutely love them!




You will need: 
Russet potatoes
chedder cheese
bacon bits
onion
flour
vegetable oil
2 eggs
salt, pepper, oregano




Steps:
1. cut and peel potatoes then boil till soft(place in fridge after smashed to cool)
2. add vegetable oil to frying pan or iron skillet to cover bottom
3. cut up onion into tiny pieces then cut cheese block into small squares
4. mix potato mash, onion, bacon and spices together then mix in 1 egg
5.  roll into balls then place cheese square in middle
6. toss in flour then egg wash then flour again
7. fry till golden brown all the way around

Grandmas pecan pie


Super easy recipe and measurements are adjustable to your liking!






You will need:
one pie crust
3 Eggs
1/8  to 1 1/2 cup of Karo corn syrup (dark or light)
2/3 cup of granulated sugar(can use less if you don't want pie as sweet)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup melted butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla( I use a full teaspoon)
1 cup pecan(pieces or whole) 




steps:
1.  Mix all ingredients together, mix in pecans last
2.  Bake 40-60 minutes( depending on how much Karo is used, more Karo more time)
                                                    375 degrees

campfire S'mores dip


This is not one of my grandmothers recipes, just a recipe I found but is absolutely delicious and VERY easy. Don't have a campfire but craving campfire treats? if you love chocolate and/or s'mores, you'll love this recipe!



You will need: 
bag of chocolate chips(dark or milk)
marshmallows( big or small)
graham crackers
cast iron skillet or baking dish




steps: 
1. preheat oven to 400 degrees 
2. empty your chocolate chips into your cast iron/baking dish
3. place marshmallows over chocolate chips( if using big marshmallows, cut in half)
4. bake 5 minutes (chocolate will be melted and marshmallows gooey)
 If you want a crunchy outside to your marshmallows use a blow torch


Seriously that easy!
